DNS doesn't have to mean you don't know stuff

Ever get confused by DNS? Trying to point a domain to a simple site builder feels like it should be easy, but for beginners it’s a confusing mess of registrars, DNS providers, and hosting. I’m in a community where someone registered a domain at Tucows, originally had hosting with Siteground, and now wants to switch to Carrd. But where’s the DNS hosted? If it’s at siteground, you may end up paying for hosting you don’t use just to keep the DNS there. Or you could move the DNS back to Tucows....
